Nice and real. "Intellectuals"! It pinches. Formal education’s self labelled. My 45 working years in Nepal in HMG, govt corporations , private sector and the latter 2 years in INGOs before I finally threw in the glove, leads me to believe that we have people with great skills in all fields: food production, planning, forestry, engineering, education , truck drivers, masons, potters, etc to name a few. What is lacking is these individuals not being fairly recognized and respected for their potentials in nation building. Nepotism is rampant and accountability is low. . Efficiency is not a priority: political alliances matter. Overall the whole atmosphere does not promote nor encourage performance and efficiency. These are matters that need to be addressed in Nepal.
